Happenings for 6/30/02

The event started off with a jolt, pitting Shawn Ego against Casualty for the FEW Hardcore Championship. Casualty picked up the advantage early with a series of powerful slams. Ego was just getting the advantage, he made a rookie mistake going for his finisher, Supremacy, which was blocked and he was omened. He will be missed.
Next up, The Beast vs. Sinner. Sinner began with a series of kicks to the knees that dropped Beast to his knees. He proceeded to execute the "Sideswipe" and attempted a failed pin attempt. The Beast began to make a comeback. After hitting the "UpDown," Beast went for a pin, which was unsuccessful. Beast was leading the match when, out of nowhere, Sinner went for "Pick up the Pieces." The Beast reversed it, and hit "Tycoon" to get the three.
Main Event: A 3-way Tag Elimination Match. Casualty and Beast start out, trading punches. Beast kicked him in the mid-section, and ddt'd Casualty. He hit the "UpDown", then started to lose his control. Casualty blocked a suplex from The Beast and hit one of his own. After a series of clotheslines, Casualty went for "My Disease" which was reversed into a chin crusher. Casualty then tagged the Undisputed Champ in. Sinner started working on The Beast. After several submission attempts, Sinner picked up Beast and "Sideswiped" him. The Beast kicked out and The Beast tagged Casualty back in. Now pitting the FEW Tag Champs against each other, business picked up. Series of arm drags, and clotheslines were pumping Casualty up. Sinner, however, feeling as if he were losing his edge. Hit a low blow, and began groundwork. After Casualty hit a desperation move on Sinner, Casualty was stretching for the tag. However, Sinner got there first. Soon after the tag, Casualty was back up and executed a deadly "My Disease" to eliminate the newly drafted Beast. With The Beast out, it was down to the FEW Tag Team Champions. However, "My Disease" seemed to have taken a lot outta the Hardcore Champ. Sinner, noticing that Casualty was going for his "My Disease" an awful lot, he knew it was coming. Casualty went for it, but Sinner low blowed his way out of it. Sinner then hit "Pick up the Pieces" and got the 3-count.

Still crazed from the assault by the former FEW roster, Tyrant challenged Casualty for the Undisputed Title. Casualty started the offense with a series of clotheslines, followed by a gorilla press slam and "My Disease." But it couldn't compete with Tyrant's devastating German Suplex, in which broke a bone in Casualty's neck. He then concentrated on the neck with a ddt and neckbreaker. Casualty mounted up offense again, however, but was quickly stopped by a hidden belt shot to the head of Casualty. However, Tyrant was not done and headed up the ladder for the "Last Laugh" to end the match, ending Casualty's 4-month reign.
A day later, Casualty, filled with anger, assaulted Tyrant and attempted to win the FEW Hardcore Title. Shawn Ego, a new prospect for the FEW, entered the impromptu match. After bruising the ribs of ego, it was down to Tyrant and Casualty. Tyrant went for his signature maneuver, "Pick up the Pieces," which was reversed into an Omen to end the match. Casualty new Hardcore Champ!
